Regarding the implementation of the 'Let's stop walking while using smartphones' campaign.
From November 1, 2024 (Friday), a total of 80 national railway operators, the Sapporo City Transportation Promotion Corporation, the Japan Private Railway Association, the Japan Subway Association, the Telecommunications Carriers Association, and its member companies NTT DoCoMo, KDDI Corporation, SoftBank Corporation, Rakuten Mobile Corporation will jointly implement the 'Let's stop walking while using smartphones' campaign to prevent collisions and falls on the railway tracks among customers using mobile phones or smartphones 'on-the-go' within station facilities, promoting safe usage.
