From now onwards, JCB card holders can use their card at all GHL's merchants in Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, offering a smooth payment experience for JCB cardmembers.

The acceptance is a result of the strategic partnership between GHL Systems Bhd and JCB International Co Ltd which aims to empower merchants and shoppers across these regions with enhanced payment convenience thanks to JCB's extensive global presence and card network as well as GHL's merchant network stretching over a vast footprint of over 480,000 payment touchpoints.

Through this partnership, the entire region can benefit from greater flexibility and the fostering of stronger business relationships between merchants and customers alike.

The rollout in Malaysia has started in the third quarter of 2024, followed by Thailand and the Philippines.
