Musk can be said to have gone to great lengths to support the US presidential candidate Trump's campaign.

On Saturday, Musk promised to randomly select a lucky winner every day from the crowd who signed an online petition supporting the US Constitution before the November election and give them $1 million. On Saturday, American voter John Dreher became Musk's first millionaire winner.

The so-called petition was initiated by the American Pacific Action Committee, demanding that all registered voters in Pennsylvania pledge to support the rights to free speech and bear arms guaranteed in the First and Second Amendments.

This move will greatly encourage Trump voters to register to vote, as well as facilitate the American Pacific Action Committee in collecting more contact information of potential voters to secure votes for Trump.

The petition does not even require signatories to be Republicans; any Democrat registered to vote in Pennsylvania can sign, thereby qualifying for Musk's $1 million prize.

With the US presidential election set to determine the winner on November 5, this means Musk will accumulate a total of $17 million in bonuses for signatories to the petition before this date.

Strong support

Last Thursday, Musk proposed to reward each voter in Pennsylvania who participated in signing the petition with $100 each. Signing the petition is not considered a direct campaign activity for Trump, so Musk's rewarding of signatories does not carry the risk of 'vote-buying,' but ultimately still benefits Trump's campaign.

According to the US federal government, Musk has provided at least $75 million to American political action committees, becoming a financial pillar in Trump's campaign process.

The American Pacific Action Committee is the organization commissioned by the Trump team to oversee ground campaign activities in battleground states. The committee believes that spending millions to mobilize voters who typically don't vote will yield a higher return on investment.

Musk stated on Saturday that the goal is to have 1 to 2 million battleground state voters sign the petition, representing Trump's strong concern for battleground states. Musk also mentioned that the $1 million reward is to involve traditional media in reporting on the petition.

Musk also mentioned on Saturday that if Harris wins, this year will be the last US election. This sensational statement undoubtedly sparked great controversy in the US, but surprisingly, many Silicon Valley figures led by Musk have firmly supported Trump, reflecting their dissatisfaction with a Democratic government.

This is also related to the policies of the Biden administration in the past few years. During Biden's term, his attitude towards emerging technologies such as the cryptocurrency industry has been skeptical, and he has been committed to weakening the power of tech giants through anti-monopoly measures, which has already caused many companies to complain.
