At the earnings conference, Tang Ye, the director of Shanghai Friendess Electronic Technology Corporation, told the reporter of the Star Daily News, "From the industry perspective, the company is currently focusing on building steel structures and will gradually expand into areas such as iron towers and bridges in the future. The company has achieved partial mass delivery, with a low volume of terminal after-sales service, and is developing well."

Shanghai Friendess Electronic Technology Corporation's main business includes the research, development, and sales of laser cutting control systems, with some layout in the smart welding field. It is reported that the company's smart welding control system project is progressing normally, having completed kinematic simulation, welding expert database and welding path generation, intelligent path planning, and other phased development work.

Regarding the market demand for smart welding control systems, Zhou Xing, vice general manager and secretary of the board of directors, stated: "In fact, some countries face a shortage of welders and high labor costs, with more urgent demand. At the exhibitions the company participated in this year, many foreign customers made inquiries."

Chairman Tang Ye revealed at the earnings conference that the company has established a presence in South Korea and has started to directly engage with overseas customers, steadily advancing its overseas sales work.

In the precision machining business, Shanghai Friendess Electronic Technology Corporation is developing a high-performance mirror control system, providing a complete solution for Topcon battery laser processing with integrated drive products and visual positioning modules. In addition, the company is also developing technical solutions for graphical BC battery laser processing, titanium laser processing, and cylindrical battery laser welding production lines.

In the first half of this year, the company achieved a revenue of 0.884 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.65%; the net income attributable to the parent company was 0.491 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.67%.

"In the first half of the year, the sales of high-power cutting systems and cutting head products in the company are trending in line with the revenue growth. The sales of medium and low-power products are steadily increasing, while the sales of high-power system products are maintaining a high growth rate. The sales of cutting head products are in a state of high growth," said Chairman Tang Ye at the earnings conference.

Regarding product gross profit, Vice General Manager and Board Secretary Zhou Xing stated that the company is enhancing the scale effect of products and optimizing product models, such as simplifying some hardware and introducing more efficient models. However, due to the company's rich variety of product types and models, profit margins are influenced by various factors.

In terms of new products, according to the introduction, the BLT9100MA intelligent cutting head is the company's variable spot cutting head product. "Normally, the company will launch 1-2 new products each year," Zhou Xing mentioned at the earnings conference.
