Today, we signed an agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. for MOX fuel supply in order to manufacture MOX fuel for use at Genkai Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3.

In the future, as soon as preparations are ready, Orano in France, which is outsourced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. plans to manufacture 40 MOX fuels using all plutonium we own in France.

Note that due to this production, we plan to run out of plutonium that our company owns overseas.

We will take all possible measures for quality assurance activities related to fuel procurement, steadily advance pull-thermal plans, and strive to actively disclose information and provide easy-to-understand explanations so that everyone in the community can feel safe and trusted.
