As of the midday close, 1154 stocks in the Hong Kong stock market rose, 656 fell, and 1261 remained unchanged.

Apple supplier stocks moved up, with BYD Electronic up by 5.85%, Tongda Group down by 4.35%, AAC Tech up by 4.19%, Q Tech up by 2.61%, FIH up by 2.25%, Sunny Optical down by 0.92%, Cowell up by 0.23%, Vstecs unchanged.
