Terumo Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Samejima) is pleased to announce that two products, the rigid hysteroscope "OperaScope" and the cell proliferation system "Quantum Flex", have won the 2024 Good Design Award organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.
The Good Design Award evaluates and awards designs that lead to problem solving and the discovery of new themes, regardless of tangible or intangible products, architecture, software, systems, and services. Terumo first won the award in 1989 with the artificial lung "Capiox E CX-E30" and has been winning consecutively for 29 years since 1996.
Terumo will continue to pursue contributions to the evolution of healthcare and the improvement of patients' quality of life, delivering valuable products and services that support people's health and lives.
