October 15th Gronghui | From Target, Macy's to parcel delivery company UPS and other American companies all plan to recruit thousands of seasonal workers before the key holiday season arrives. Among them, Target plans to recruit 100,000 people, the same as last year; Macy's plans to recruit 31,500 full-time and part-time employees, compared to 38,000 full-time and part-time seasonal workers recruited last year; UPS plans to recruit 125,000 people, higher than last year's 100,000 people; Amazon plans to recruit 250,000 people, the same as last year. According to Challenger, Gray & Christmas company's September forecast, due to a weak labor market and consumer spending tightening, it is expected that the increase in seasonal jobs for retailers this shopping season will be fewer than last year.
