LIXIL Corporation (hereinafter referred to as LIXIL) will kick off an exhibition for professional users called "SEEDS - A Place where Various Ideas Sprout" to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its domestic water and tile business. The exhibition will be held on October 29th (Tuesday) in Osaka, followed by events in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.

LIXIL's water and tile domestic business celebrated its 100th anniversary this year. In the transitional period of Japan's modernization, in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture known as the town of Rokkoyo, richly decorated bricks and terracotta tiles were produced for the Imperial Hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1924, inheriting that technology, Ina Ceramic Company (later INAX, now LIXIL) was established.
This exhibition is divided into four zones: past, present, future, allowing visitors to experience the technology cultivated over the past 100 years and new initiatives for the next 100 years. We have prepared a variety of exhibits such as the latest products, custom-made products, environmental and technological exhibitions to nurture "SEEDS" (Seeds of Ideas) with our customers. Furthermore, the entire exhibition hall, supervised by the Aichi-based green and interior shop "garage" with the concept of "living with plants," is styled with abundant plantings, expressing "SEEDS -a place where diverse ideas sprout" along with unique tile displays.
LIXIL will continue to contribute to realizing rich and comfortable living for everyone around the world through various tile products tailored to customer needs.
