The union stated: 'This dismissal is another attempt to intimidate IG Metall workers,' and condemned Tesla for taking a radical strategy against all those working together for humane and fair working conditions within the factory. The union also stated that the factory management threatened to dismiss every worker who joined the IG Metall union. Previously, the union had disputes with Tesla, seeking greater influence on salaries and working conditions at its only production base in Europe.
