According to media reports on Monday quoting informed sources, at last week's highly anticipated tesla "Robotaxi Day" event, the company remotely operated some functions of the Optimus humanoid robot in hopes of better showcasing its products.

However, this report does not seem to have had an impact on Tesla's stock price, with Tesla stock rising about 0.6% at the close of trading on Monday. Last Friday, due to investor disappointment with the conference, its stock price plummeted by 8.8%.

Sources pointed out that at the event, Tesla employees from other locations remotely supervised many interactions between Optimus and the guests, actually not showing as much intelligence as claimed.

In addition, some attendees also posted on social media that Optimus received some outside help, with one Optimus bartender even admitting that it received 'human assistance'.

However, Tesla CEO Musk did not mention this point during the live broadcast, the idea of remote control has raised doubts about the capabilities of this robot and whether it is ready to enter the market.

Musk stated last week that the Optimus robot 'will be the greatest product in history' and imagined a future where personal robots will replace owners to go grocery shopping and mow the lawn.

The CEO also told everyone that it can handle many household chores and may eventually be sold to consumers at a price ranging from $0.02 million to $0.03 million per unit.

Although tesla had previously showcased the prototype of Optimus, last week was the first time non-employees had the opportunity to interact directly with this black and white siasun robot&automation. They poured drinks for attendees, high-fived, and could even play rock-paper-scissors. Its level of asia vets was surprising and was one of the few highlights of the event.

The performance of this robot has long been highly anticipated by investors, although the product release date is still uncertain. In 2022, the early prototype had to be carried onto the stage by people, but now it can walk by itself.

Analysts commented that last week's event was highly anticipated by the public, with expectations that tesla would demonstrate its transformation into a leader in robots and ai. However, the event did not provide details on how the electric autos pioneer plans to achieve this feat, leaving many investors disappointed and causing a sharp drop in its stock price.

Many attendees expressed a deep impression of their interaction with Optimus, believing it was the most captivating part of the event. Nancy Tengler, the CEO of Laffer Tengler Investments, commented after attending the event, "In my opinion, Optimus stole the spotlight from the self-driving Cybercab taxi; they swayed in, danced, and looked very human-like."

Wedbush Securities analyst Ives, who has always been bullish on tesla, pointed out that this event provided a glimpse into the future, where these human-like robots may be closer to reality than previously imagined.

Gene Munster, a partner at investment firm Deepwater, claims that Optimus has been remotely controlled, feeling "deceived," but he hopes Optimus can go further. Additionally, Optimus also provides a window to understand the potential of these products.
