Guolonghui October 14th丨 Ucloudlink (688158.SH) stated during a specific investor survey that the company will take "expanding datacenter" as one of its core development directions. The large data centers in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, and Qingpu, Shanghai are gradually demonstrating their value, with good business growth momentum and effective profit improvement. By mid-May this year, the datacenter's own computing power has exceeded 4700P.
The first phase of the Qingpu datacenter project in Shanghai plans to build three data center buildings, with one building already put into operation in January 2023 (with a total capacity of approximately 1,000 racks). It has higher computing power and a high-quality transmission network, mainly used to support AI inference, chip verification, brain-computer interface, and other high-time-sensitive businesses.
The Ulanqab datacenter in Inner Mongolia has built a comprehensive, secure, and reliable intelligent computing infrastructure, mainly driving the project progress through AIGC training. The first and second phases of the project are steadily progressing as planned. The first phase of the project was officially put into commercial use in September 2021, with approximately 2,500 racks. The second phase of the project plans to build around 4,800 racks, with the number of racks gradually increasing based on market conditions.
