On October 12th, Minsheng Securities recently released a research report stating that zijin mining group (601899.SH), a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of the company, Jin Yuan International, plans to invest $1 billion to acquire 100% equity of the Akyem gold mine project held by Newmont in Ghana. This acquisition of the Akyem gold mine is another milestone for the company to achieve its production target in 2028, bullish on the company's future copper and gold production growth. It is expected that the company will achieve a net profit attributable to the parent of 29.7 billion yuan, 36.3 billion yuan, and 41.4 billion yuan from 2024 to 2026, with corresponding PEs of 16x, 13x, and 11x based on the closing price on October 10th, maintaining a "recommended" rating.
