According to a deep report from Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) capital markets, the cybersecurity company $CrowdStrike (CRWD.US)$ has been rated as one of the best stocks in the North American software sector in 2025.
After a significant drop in mid-July, CrowdStrike's stock price rebounded as the company reevaluated some processes. Since early August, the stock has surged by approximately 35%.
Royal Bank of Canada analyst Matthew Hedberg stated: "Although CrowdStrike's recent crash made headlines and caused short-term noise, we believe the company will emerge stronger from the crash crisis. We see no risk in the company's estimates for the fiscal years 2025 and 2026, and the $10 billion ARR target is achievable."
Royal Bank of Canada has selected 11 software companies as the best stocks for 2025, with CrowdStrike being one of them.

Royal Bank of Canada analyst Matthew Swanson mentioned regarding Adobe: "The market generally expects revenue growth rates of 10.5% and 10.9% for the fiscal years 2024 and 2025, respectively, with digital media ARR growth rates of 12.9% and 11.3%. We believe that with the benefits of Generative AI (GenAI) starting to show, these estimates may be conservative."

Hedberg said: "We believe GitLab is in a favorable position to consolidate DevSecOps expenditures."
