On the 9th, Timing <215A> announced that it has signed a business partnership agreement with the Nagano Prefectural Central Union of Agricultural Cooperatives (hereinafter referred to as JA Nagano Chuo-kai).
In Nagano Prefecture, as of 2020, there were approximately 0.055 million core agricultural workers mainly engaged in self-employed agriculture, of which those aged 65 and above accounted for about 0.04 million people, more than 70%, highlighting aging and labor shortages as issues. In this partnership, initially, during the peak harvest season of apples in autumn, the Timing gig service will be utilized at fruit selection centers, etc., to secure manpower for JA collective selection places and shipping centers. Additionally, by having JA Nagano Chuo-kai serve as the intermediary to introduce "Timing" to member farmers, aiming to alleviate labor shortages at each farm, both the company and JA Nagano Chuo-kai will provide support to each farm, while establishing a system that makes it easier for them to use "Timing".
By leveraging the knowledge and expertise they have cultivated so far, the company will collaborate with JA Nagano Chuo-kai to contribute to addressing labor shortages in the agricultural sector in Nagano Prefecture and also contribute to the increase in future farming population.
