Pagaya Technologies Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by Chief Revenue Officer Yahav Yulzari for US$610k worth of shares, at about US$10.17 per share. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, even at a higher price than the current share price (being US$9.90). While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. To us, it's very important to consider the price insiders pay for shares. As a general rule, we feel more positive about a stock if insiders have bought shares at above current prices, because that suggests they viewed the stock as good value, even at a higher price.

Over the last year, we can see that insiders have bought 194.81k shares worth US$2.0m. On the other hand they divested 105.19k shares, for US$1.3m. Insider Ownership

Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. It's great to see that Pagaya Technologies insiders own 20% of the company, worth about US$144m. I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders.
