It is reported that the authorities will gradually relax the restrictions on loan amount determination. Before June 30 next year, employees who purchase their first self-occupied homes in the administrative area of Ya'an City and meet the basic requirements for applying for a housing provident fund loan, such as normal deposit for 6 months or more, will not be subject to restrictions on the loan amount based on the deposit time factor and account balance.

In addition, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province has also lifted the restrictions on using the housing provident fund for purchasing homes in a different location within the province. When employees purchase self-occupied homes within the administrative area of Sichuan Province and apply for fund withdrawal, it is no longer necessary for the location of the purchased property to be consistent with the individual's or spouse's household registration or the deposit location of the provident fund.
