Petron To Shut Port Dickson Refinery For Maintenance

Petron Malaysia announced that its refinery at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, will be undergoing a maintenance shutdown for approximately 8 weeks in order to facilitate some repairs to its furnaces.

The group also confirms that despite the shutdown of the refinery, the supply of petroleum products to its network of Petron branded petrol stations, its LPG customers and commercial accounts will remain business as usual without any disruption or shortage of petroleum products to the market.

It added the financial impact could not be estimated at the present moment and confirms that the cost of the repair at the refinery is not considered material.
