On October 9th, Guolonghui | A-shares' three major indexes collectively retreated today. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 6.62%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 8.15%, the Chinext Price Index fell by 10.59%, and the BCI 50 Index fell by 12.11%. The total turnover of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets was 2966.6 billion yuan, a decrease of 517 billion yuan from the previous day. More than 5,000 stocks in the entire market declined. In terms of sectors, film and television media, photovoltaic batteries, csi sws food & beverage index, biomedical, and real estate sectors led the decline. In the ETF sector, the semiconductor sector was strong all day, with funds like CMB Semiconductor Equipment ETF, E Fund Chip Industry ETF, Penghua Semiconductor ETF, and Yifangda Semiconductor Chip ETF all hitting the limit up. The innovation and creation sector performed well, with GF Fund Innovation 50 ETF and Guotai Fund Innovation ETF rising by 10% and 9.94% respectively. The fintech sector continued to rise, with BOCI Fintech ETF and Fintech ETF Huaxia hitting the limit up. The entrepreneurship and innovation sector experienced a sharp pullback, with BOC GEM ETF, Ping An Chinext Composite ETF, and SZSE Chinext Technology Index ETF falling by 19.98%, 19.56%, and 19.54% respectively. The sci-tech biomedical ETF and SZSE Chinext Healthcare Index ETF fell by 18.23% and 17.87% respectively. The csi sws food & beverage index sector declined, with csi health care etf, diet etf, and Penghua csi alcoholic drink etf hitting the limit down.
