Sasbadi Holdings Berhad announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary has entered into a Sale Agreement and Assignment of Intellectual Property Rights with Kohwai & Young Publications (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to acquire all the rights, title and interest in the publishing list of KYPSB relating to early childhood publications.

The deal is said to be estimated at RM1.2 million. Sasbadi said the proposed acquisition will provide group with the opportunity to strengthen its market presence in the early childhood publishing segment. In addition, the group said it intends to leverage
on its competitive strengths such as economies of scale, expansive distribution channels, digital/online resources and capabilities, etc, to enhance its sales and profitability.
