In June this year, the bank gradually opened up the carbon footprint tracking function to selected customers. By integrating and categorizing customer account transaction data using artificial intelligence, as well as carbon tracking calculation models, the total direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions of customers in their daily lives are estimated to determine their carbon footprint levels, aiming to help customers understand the impact of their daily consumption and financial habits on the environment.

Li Bin mentioned that since the introduction of the carbon footprint tracking function, the browsing volume of eco-friendly related financial information has been continuously increasing. With the full opening of the carbon footprint tracking function, it is believed that more customers can make wise choices in their daily lives and cultivate green and low-carbon lifestyle habits.
