Tuju Setia Berhad has announcd that it secured a RM317.6 million contract to design and build a new medical block (Block C) at the Gleneagles Hospital in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.
The Letter of Acceptance was awarded by Ampang 210 Sdn Bhd which will include the construction of a new 19-storey medical block will be constructed on a 2.5-acre land adjacent to the annexed building (Block B) at the hospital complex. It will include 280-bed wards, an Imaging Department, Pharmacy, Maternity Unit, Haemodialysis Centre, Specialist Clinics, Offices, a Food Court, Retail spaces, and other specialised units and amenities. In addition, four stories of the medical block will be used for Aged Care.
The award comes off the back of the group recently completing the Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin Women & Child Hospital in
Kajang, Selangor with this group's total year-to-date wins stands at RM775.0 million.
