On the news front, in December last year, Sensetime's co-founder, Tang Xiaoou, unfortunately passed away. According to media reports, Tang Xiaoou's widow, and the current Executive Director and General Manager of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Yang Qiumei, inherited his shares and became the largest shareholder of Sensetime. Documents show that on August 19th this year, more than 6.9 billion unlisted shares of Sensetime Class A stocks were transferred to Yang Qiumei. Eight days later, the same number of shares were converted into Sensetime Class B shares listed in Hong Kong, accounting for about 20% of all issued Class A and Class B shares of Sensetime, making Yang Qiumei the largest shareholder of Sensetime. According to regulations, Hong Kong Exchange employees need to declare their holdings of Hong Kong securities internally.
