Rakuten Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Rakuten”) has begun exchanging points from the point service “Hirogin Points” provided by Hiroshima Bank, Ltd. (hereinafter “Hiroshima Bank”), which is a subsidiary of Hirogin Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Hirogin HD”), to Rakuten's point program “Rakuten Points.”

Users can apply to exchange “Hirogin Points” for “Rakuten Points” (regular points) on the “Point Service” menu of Hiroshima Bank's official free application “Hirogin App.” The exchange ratio is 90 “Rakuten points” compared to 100 “Hirogin Points.” In addition to the various services of the Rakuten Group, starting with the internet shopping mall “Rakuten Ichiba,” the exchanged “Rakuten Points” can also be used at partner “Rakuten Point Card” member stores such as supermarkets and convenience stores.
In addition to starting to exchange “Rakuten points,” the Rakuten Group is strengthening cooperation by implementing cross-cutting efforts with Hirogin HD, including the fintech business. In addition to starting a financial product brokerage business with the Hiroshima Bank in 2020/4, Rakuten Securities Co., Ltd. began a business alliance with Hirogin Life Partners, which conducts financial product brokerage business, in 2024/7. Also, Rakuten Life Insurance Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with the Hiroshima Bank on 10/1 this year, and will begin providing group credit life insurance “Business Loan Repayment Guarantee Group Credit” on 11/1 this year. Furthermore, Rakuten Card Co., Ltd. is also scheduled to begin accepting applications and issuing credit cards in partnership with “Rakuten Card” and Hiroshima Bank in November this year. The Rakuten Group aims to improve service satisfaction and promote mutual use between both groups through strengthening cooperation with the Hirogin Group.
Going forward, Rakuten will continue to strive to provide new value for “Rakuten Points” with the aim of improving user convenience and providing an environment where users can enjoy a more affordable and enjoyable consumption experience.

“Rakuten Points” is Rakuten's point program that began in 2002.
