Lalamove's parent company, Lalamove Technology, has applied for listing in Hong Kong for the fourth time, with Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Securities, and JPMorgan as joint sponsors. Pre-IPO investors include Hillhouse, Sequoia China, Xiaomi (01810.HK) Chairman's Shunwei Capital and Quell Capital.
Lalamove Technology will apply for listing in Hong Kong using a weighted voting right structure, where Class A shares have 10 votes and Class B shares only have 1 vote. Class A shares are mainly held by controlling shareholders, chairmen, and senior executives such as CEO Shing Fung Peter Foo.
Lalamove Technology returned to profit in the first half of the year, earning $0.184 billion, with revenue increasing by 18.2% to $0.709 billion.
