Through the collaboration between humans and AI, ABEJA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yosuke Okada, hereinafter referred to as "ABEJA"), participates as a joint research and development institution in the research and development theme "Development of the Japanese version of medical LLM*2 and verification of social implementation in clinical settings" adopted in the 3rd period strategic innovation creation program *1 publicly solicited by the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (hereinafter referred to as "NCGM"). ABEJA will be responsible for the development of the LLM system.
In this project, the Sakura Internet Research Institute, an internal research institute of Sakura Internet Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sakura Internet"), becomes the lead research and development institution. ABEJA will cooperate with various stakeholders and use the cloud play for AI generation services provided by Sakura Internet to advance research and development. Specifically, ABEJA will provide a common foundation of system applications tailored to each use case, and will develop additional learning for the Japanese version of medical LLM.
ABEJA will collaborate with various participating companies in the future to contribute to the social implementation of medical LLM.
