MAYER HOLDINGS (01116.HK) announced that its subsidiary Guangzhou Meiya Development's nanometer PCM is a material that can exhibit high performance within a wide temperature range (i.e. from -68°C to 600°C), to address major challenges related to energy saving and energy efficiency.

MAYER HOLDINGS stated that the nanometer PCM products of Guangzhou Meiya can provide benefits in energy saving, waste heat recovery, and thermal energy management, and can therefore be widely used in agriculture and high-end industrial applications. This includes ultra-efficient energy storage cooling systems, industrial cooling systems and waste heat recovery, and the agricultural sector.

MAYER HOLDINGS revealed that Guangzhou Meiya has been collaborating with the government and academic institutions to develop its energy storage plans. This includes research and production development of nanometer PCM in cooperation with the Guangdong Provincial HVAC Association, collaboration with China Agricultural University to address livestock farm environmental control needs, establishment of the Nanometer Phase Change Energy Storage Technology Innovation Center in collaboration with China Academy of Urban Planning and Design, and further collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to establish a digital cloud platform for agricultural planting.
