Toyota Boshoku Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kariya, Aichi Prefecture, President: Masayoshi Shiraishi) has reached its 20th anniversary since its establishment through the merger of Araco (interior business), Taknichi, and Toyoda Boshoku on October 1, 2004.
The commemorative ceremony held at the Kariya Global Headquarters on the same day was a milestone event marking 20 years since the merger. Company executives, labor unions, and employee representatives attended. During the ceremony, President Shiraishi stated, "Over these 20 years, with the unwavering efforts of our seniors and everyone here, our company has grown significantly. We are steadily approaching the goal of becoming the world's No. 1 global comprehensive interior manufacturer beyond Toyota, as envisioned in the merger mission. From here on, our aim for 2030, as Interior Space Creators, does not yet exist in the world. We are entering an era where we ourselves must pioneer the way forward. Together with all employees, we want to continue "returning to the company's founding principles" and "sowing the seeds for challenges towards the future." We aim to become a company where we receive "thank you" from both our predecessors and future generations."
