Original title: Yahoo Editor Meets Microsoft CEO: Fascinated After Watching Surface Duo
Recently, Yahoo Finance Editor-in-Chief Brian Sozzi met Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, who is using Surface Duo, in public.
The Surface Duo is a dual-screen phone officially released by Microsoft in October last year. This is also Microsoft's first product to return to the mobile phone market. Nadella also personally showed and explained the Surface Duo to Sozzi on the spot.
Brian Sozzi said he was enthralled when he saw the Surface Duo with his own eyes.
According to previous information, the Surface Duo system is a dual-screen Android system created by Microsoft and Google. It has not only the Google Play Store, but also a full range of Google services such as Chrome and Music, which is not much different from the average Android phone.
The difference is that Surface Duo also has apps such as Microsoft's Edge browser, which comes pre-installed with Microsoft Family Bucket. Interestingly, Surface Duo also uses Google as a search box instead of Bing.
Microsoft's official demo video shows that the Surface Duo is quite similar to Samsung's Galaxy Fold in terms of design and supports stylus input. It uses two 5.6-inch displays, is 8.3 inches when unfolded, and its hinges support 360-degree adjustment.
The Surface Duo will go on sale around Christmas 2020, and the price has yet to be announced.
