Start of offering the new space proposal service "A-SPEC Pro" for public toilets.

LIXIL Corporation (hereinafter LIXIL) will start offering a new space proposal service for public toilets, "A-SPEC Pro," from Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Public toilets, which play an important role as social infrastructure, have become increasingly complex in terms of design considerations due to the diversification of user needs and changes in design rules in recent years. In this context, LIXIL is conducting its corporate activities with a stronger sense of mission towards realizing a "comfortable toilet space."
As designers encounter various concerns at different phases such as wanting to understand the concept of toilet planning, deciding the direction of toilet creation, or seeking feedback on ongoing plans, LIXIL has been providing spatial proposal support to create comfortable public toilet spaces utilizing design knowledge and experience accumulated over the years.
For example, LIXIL has always explored new methods and possibilities while considering ergonomic universal design, spatial design based on user actions, plans that take into account design rules and guidelines, new proposals that anticipate trends based on surveys, and visual representations that aid in intuitive understanding, in order to support better planning.
In October 2020, based on this accumulated knowledge and technology, LIXIL developed and provided a service to automatically design public toilet spaces on the cloud called "A-SPEC", contributing to improving productivity in design work and standardizing design accuracy. Now, LIXIL is launching the data-driven rapid toilet space proposal service, "A-SPEC Pro," utilizing the technology that was developed and refined in the process of creating A-SPEC. This new service aims to address various concerns of designers and support toilet planning from a professional perspective.

- Lodging cafe toilets with attached lodge at the Takeyoshi Parking Area
While maintaining the surrounding safety forest, the existing closed restaurant building structure was renovated entirely into a lodge cafe.
