At present, the booking rate of traditional hotels in the New Port area is close to 80%, and room prices are basically flat compared to the same period in 2019. Tourists generally book two to three nights and extend their stay. As the holiday approaches, the booking data will increase, with an expected average daily tourist volume of 0.1 million or more during the golden period, and the hotel occupancy rate is expected to exceed ninety percent.

Lu Zhiliang, Chairman of the Macao Hotel and Travel Industry Association, stated that October 1-5 is the busiest period, as the National Day holiday is long, with most guests booking for two days or more. The large integrated leisure resort hotel in Cotai is fully booked, and other hotels are also 80% full. Last year, the overall hotel occupancy rate during the golden week was only over eighty percent, and it is estimated to increase this year, with the entire holiday occupancy rate at ninety percent or higher. Room prices are also relatively rational, positioned as holiday standards, similar to 2019, with three to four-star hotel room prices ranging from over a thousand to two thousand Macau dollars, and large luxury leisure hotel room prices at 2,500 Macau dollars or more.
