SHENZHEN NEW LAND TOOL PLANNING & ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN (00016.HK) plans to add 16 brand new solar energy systems by the end of 2025, increasing the total to 80, providing over 0.02 million solar panels. At that time, it can produce approximately 8.96 million kWh of electricity per year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 2,700 households; reducing carbon emissions by about 4,000 metric tons per year, equivalent to the carbon dioxide absorption of 0.174 million trees in a year.
As of June, the group manages 64 solar power generation systems, with over 0.0165 million solar panels, producing approximately 7 million kWh of electricity per year. Among the 64 systems, 31 (49%) are located in residential properties, including Upper River Heaven, Yuen Long Vineyard, Ma On Shan Kayville Garden, and Pokfulam Richland Garden; another 18 (28%) are in office buildings and shopping malls, such as Sha Tin Shenzhen New Land Tool Planning & Architectural Design Central Square, Kwun Tong The Millennity, West Kowloon ICC, Mong Kok New Century Plaza, and Wan Chai Sun Hung Kai Centre, etc. Industrial properties are located in a total of 13 properties including Hung Hom Harbourfront Landmark and Shek Mun New Trade Centre.
