On September 29, Gelonhui reported that Shandong Cynda Chemical (603086.SH) announced that the registration of the innovative drug Pyrazole Quinclorac, applied by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Liaoning Cynda Agriculture Science Co., Ltd., has been approved.
Pyrazole quinclorac is a new type of herbicide, and its mechanism of action belongs to the hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) inhibitor class. In traditional HPPD inhibitor-restricted japonica rice fields, the product has shown excellent safety and effectiveness, solving the core problem of crop protection. With its unique mechanism, pyrazole quinclorac can effectively control a range of resistant weeds, including barnyard grass and grasses of the Poaceae family, and is expected to become an important tool for resistant weed management in rice fields.
