(President and Representative Director, President and Executive Officer Tetsuya Chida), Kanpo Seimei Insurance Co., Ltd. (Director and Representative Executive Officer, President Kunio Tanigaki), and Yucho Bank Co., Ltd. (Director and Representative Executive Officer, Takayuki Kasama), confirmed cases where at the post office, without obtaining prior customer consent for cross-selling, they used the non-public financial information of customers' savings to conduct visitation for insurance solicitation purposes.

Creating a list of customers who have not given prior consent for cross-selling, and using non-public financial information such as savings to conduct visitation for insurance solicitation, or actually conducting visitation without obtaining prior consent for cross-selling, constitutes a violation of the law. We take such incidents very seriously as a group, and deeply apologize to the customers concerned.
