Data shows that the company's production volume in August dropped to 709,571 vehicles, with production in Japan declining by 22%.
This Japanese auto manufacturer saw a 3.1% year-on-year decrease in global sales volume in August, down to 826,863 vehicles, with sales in Japan decreasing by 9.1%.
So far this year, Toyota has experienced an 18.2% decline in sales volume in Japan, to approximately 0.932 million vehicles, while sales outside Japan have increased by 2.4% year-on-year, reaching around 5.64 million vehicles.
In August, the total export volume of Japanese autos dropped by 16.4% to 132,448 vehicles, marking the fourth consecutive month of year-on-year decline.
