According to the Zhutong Finance APP, HSBC (00005) announced today the successful issuance of the first senior unsecured fixed-rate digital native bonds denominated in Hong Kong dollars, with a total amount of 1 billion Hong Kong dollars. HSBC acted as the exclusive global coordinator, sole bookrunner, financial agent, paying agent, and registrar in this transaction, and provided HSBC Orion as the distributed ledger technology platform for the issuance.
