Musk made the remarks in response to a post on the social media platform X. Milei is currently in New York attending the United Nations General Assembly. On Monday, he met with Musk in New York. This is the third meeting between the two since Milei took office last December.

After the meeting on Monday, Milei's spokesman Manuel Adoni stated that the two discussed various topics, including tax incentives, efforts to promote investment in Argentina, and Argentina's path to normalization.

From the photos released after the meeting, it is clear that the meeting was very pleasant, with Milei, Musk, and several other officials all giving a thumbs up.

The video of Milei and Musk's meeting has been widely shared and discussed online, with some social media users believing that Argentina is better than other South American countries. Musk responded to one of the posts, stating that his company is actually looking for ways to support Argentina.

"My companies are actively seeking ways to invest in and support Argentina," Musk wrote in his reply.

On one hand, Musk is interested in Argentina's abundant lithium resources. Argentina is the world's fourth largest lithium producer, and lithium is a key component of electric vehicle batteries.

On the other hand, Musk admires Milei's liberal style. He has expressed admiration for Milei's liberal politics and full support for private enterprises.

Milei and Musk hit it off, which was evident in their recent meeting. The atmosphere seemed relaxed when the two met, and Milei smiled when Musk pointed to Milei's 'Make America Great Again' hat.

In April of this year, Milei visited Tesla's headquarters in Austin, Texas. After the meeting, a spokesperson for Milei pointed out that Musk and Milei agreed on the 'necessity of the free market, defending the idea of freedom,' as well as the importance of eliminating barriers to business bureaucracy.

In May of this year, Musk and Milei had exchanges during the 27th Milken Institute Global Conference. At the time, Musk seemed very supportive of Milei, suggesting investment in Argentina.

Musk's companies also include the brain chip startup Neuralink and the AI company xAI. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk's current wealth is approximately $268 billion, ranking him first on the global rich list.
