China's Ministry of Commerce announced on the 24th that it has decided to initiate an investigation into the unreliable entity list regarding Calvin Klein's parent company, PVH Group (listed in USA), for suspected violations of normal market trading principles related to Xinjiang-related products, including disrupting normal transactions with Chinese companies, other organizations, or individuals, and taking discriminatory measures.

Within 30 days of the announcement, the American PVH Group is required to provide the Office of the Unreliable Entity List Mechanism with written materials and evidence of whether there have been discriminatory measures taken against Xinjiang-related products in the past 3 years, as well as other information needed for the investigation.

PVH owns the brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, with a significant presence in the business in China and the USA. The company had previously stated that it would comply with the laws of the regions where its business operates, including US laws.
