Poh Kong's FY24 PAT Rises Nearly 50% To RM116.9 Million

For the fourth quarter, Poh Kong posted a higher revenue of RM342.472 million as compared to the revenue in the corresponding quarter last year of RM315.661 million, an increase of RM26.811 million. The group said the increase in revenue was due mainly to the increase in demand of gold jewelry and gold investment products during the quarter under review.

Profit for the quarter was also higher at RM22 million compared to RM4.8 million registered.

As for the full year, the group recorded a revenue of RM1.64 billion versus RM1.47 billion reported for FY23 while profit after tax was RM116.9 million against RM78 million achieved in the previous year.

Given the outstanding financial performance, the Board is recommending a final single-tier dividend of 3 sen per ordinary share.
