Sanli Pharmaceutical (603439.SH) announced on September 20th that they plan to acquire 40% of the equity of Guizhou Sunkang Enterprise Management Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership) (referred to as 'Sunkang Partnership'), a subsidiary of Guizhou Health Agriculture Traditional Chinese Medicine Ingredients Industry Development Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as 'Health Agriculture'), for a total consideration of RMB 40 million in cash. Prior to the equity transfer, the company directly held 5% of the equity of Sunkang Partnership and indirectly held 55% of the equity of Sunkang Partnership through its wholly-owned subsidiary Guizhou Sanli Health Management Co., Ltd., for a total equity ownership of 60%. Sunkang Partnership is a subsidiary controlled by the company; after the completion of this transaction, the company will directly hold 45% of the equity of Sunkang Partnership, with a total direct and indirect ownership of 100% of the equity of Sunkang Partnership.
