Goldenway reported on September 19 that the board of directors has resolved to establish a special investigative committee composed of all independent non-executive directors (namely Mr. Ma Shaohua, Mr. Zhang Li, and Mr. Dai Bing) to investigate the key issues raised in those letters. The special investigative committee is responsible for (i) appointing independent legal accountants as investigators to independently investigate the key issues raised in those letters; (ii) appointing independent internal control consultants to conduct an independent internal control review of the company's internal control work and procedures; (iii) reporting to the board of directors the findings of the independent investigation and internal control review; and (iv) making recommendations to the board of directors on appropriate actions to be taken (if any).
