After three consecutive days from September 15th to 17th, the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in Mainland China ended. The number of Mainland tourists visiting Hong Kong through various ports exceeded 0.35 million, an increase of about 49% compared to the previous weekend's daily average number of Mainland tourists.

Tse Ting-fung, the Executive Director of the Travel Industry Council, stated that more than 0.14 million Mainland visitors on average visited Hong Kong during the first two days of the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, which is higher than the usual nearly 0.08 million visitors on weekends.
