According to a recent report by Macao Daily, some members of the Macao tourism industry believe that the number of visitors to Macao during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival is booming, and there is a chance to exceed the pre-epidemic level of 2019. The Macao tourism industry envisions that the number of visitors during the National Day Golden Week can reach 0.13 million per day on average, setting a new post-epidemic daily record.

Huang Hui, the president of Macao Leisure Travel Service Innovation Association, said that the number of visitors to Macao during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival is booming, possibly due to the recent international fireworks show in Macao, which helps attract tourists from Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area to come to Macao for the holiday. The number of visitors may exceed the pre-epidemic level. However, with the transformation of the tourist structure and the convenience of transportation to Macao, most of the tourists are individual travelers, many of whom choose to come and go on the same day, which does not have a very noticeable impact on hotel occupancy rates.

The industry is bullish on the number of visitors during the National Day holiday and hopes to set a new record for daily visitors, with a daily average of more than 0.13 million. However, the number of visitors is not the most important factor, as businesses hope for an increase in consumer spending power, which can boost both sales and profits.
