In order to promote the automobile consumer market and boost the economy, the Nanshan District and Bao'an District of Shenzhen have introduced car subsidy measures. Among them, the Nanshan District will allocate 0.1 billion RMB for car subsidies, while the Bao'an District will provide subsidies ranging from 2,000 RMB to 30,000 RMB for the winning new car users through a lottery system.
In addition, in order to promote green travel, Shenzhen has also introduced a trade-in and car scrapping subsidy program throughout the city. Gasoline vehicles can receive a maximum subsidy of 15,000 RMB per vehicle, while electric vehicles can receive a maximum subsidy of 20,000 RMB per vehicle.
