CITIC Securities (06030) announced that its overseas wholly-owned subsidiary CITIC Securities International Limited (hereinafter referred to as CITIC Securities International) established a subsidiary, CITIC Securities Finance MTN Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the issuer or guarantor), on May 12, 2023, with a maximum principal amount of 3 billion US dollars (or equivalent in other currencies) in an overseas European commercial paper program (hereinafter referred to as the commercial paper program), which is guaranteed by the company.

On September 16, 2024, the issuer issued a note under the commercial paper program with an issuance amount of 0.03 billion US dollars.

After the above issuance, the issuer has issued a total principal amount of approximately 0.338 billion US dollars under the commercial paper program.
