Gansu Energy Chemical (000552.SZ) announced on September 18th that the company has recently received a reply from the Gansu Provincial Energy Bureau on the joint trial operation of Baiyanzi Coal Mine (Gan Neng Han [2024] No. 122). The joint trial operation plan of Baiyanzi Coal Mine, a subsidiary of Jingmei Group, has been completed and filed, and the joint trial operation will take place from September 18th, 2024, to March 17th, 2025.

Jingtai Coal Industry, a subsidiary and holding company of the company, is mainly responsible for the construction of Baiyanzi Coal Mine and coal washing plant. The designed production capacity of the mine is 0.9 million tons/year. According to the detailed investigation report, the coal resources of the mine amount to 90.758 million tons (47.363 million tons of gas coal resources and 43.395 million tons of 1/3 coking coal resources). In the later stage, Jingtai Coal Industry will strive to complete the joint trial operation of the project within the specified time, carry out the completion acceptance and quality certification of the unit project, promote the smooth completion of the special acceptance of the project, and ensure that the company operates in compliance with the law.
