Ryanair's CEO Michael O'Leary said on Tuesday that since August, the booking momentum has improved and the demand for discounts has decreased, but he expects the profit this year to be slightly lower than last year.
He said that ticket prices may decrease by 5% to 9% compared to the same period last year by the end of September, but there have been signs of improvement in recent weeks, and he believes that the discount trend will narrow in October and November.
O'Leary also expressed optimism about whether Boeing will be able to deliver the company's large aircraft order for the MAX 10 on time.
