HKEX (00388.HK) Group CEO Laura M Cha attended the listing ceremony this morning (17th) and pointed out that a large number of new listings are coming one after another. Currently handling around 100 listing applications, many of which are seeking to raise $1 billion. She further mentioned that with the approval of the external environment, the company hopes to complete all listing work by the end of the year.

Laura M Cha previously met with HKEX Chairman CK Chow in Beijing to meet with PBoC Governor Yi Gang. She stated that the meeting was a courtesy visit, without disclosing details of the discussion, only mentioning that Beijing strongly supports consolidating Hong Kong as an international financial center.
