內地8月規上工業原油產量按年升2.1% 進口原油降7%

The National Bureau of Statistics announced that in August, the production of coal, crude oil, natural gas, and electrical utilities in the industrial sector above the designated size (hereinafter referred to as large-scale industries) maintained a steady growth. The production of coal remained stable. In August, the output of coal in large-scale industries was 0.4 billion tons, an annual increase of 2.8%, with the growth rate on par with that of July; the daily output was 12.792 million tons. Coal imports reached 45.84 million tons, an annual increase of 3.4%. In the first eight months, the production of coal in large-scale industries was 3.05 billion tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3%. Coal imports amounted to 0.34 billion tons, an annual increase of 11.8%.

The production of crude oil remained stable and increased. In August, the output of crude oil in large-scale industries was 17.83 million tons, an annual increase of 2.1%; the daily output was 0.575 million tons. Crude oil imports totaled 49.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7%. In the first eight months, the output of crude oil in large-scale industries was nearly 0.143 billion tons, an annual increase of 2.1%. Crude oil imports amounted to nearly 0.367 billion tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.1%.

There was a slight decrease in crude oil processing. In August, the raw oil processing volume of large-scale industries was 59.07 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.2%; the daily processing volume was 1.905 million tons. In the first eight months, the raw oil processing volume of large-scale industries was nearly 0.473 billion tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%. The production of natural gas accelerated. In August, the output of natural gas in large-scale industries was 20 billion cubic meters, an annual increase of 9.4%, with the growth rate 1.5 percentage points faster than that of July; the daily output was 0.65 billion cubic meters. Natural gas imports reached 11.76 million tons, an annual increase of 9.1%.

In the first eight months, the output of natural gas in large-scale industries was 163.7 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. Natural gas imports amounted to 87.13 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%.
