Overall, the first weekend pre-orders for the iPhone 16 series are about 37 million units, a decrease of about 12.7% from the iPhone 15 series.
Based on the shipping time on the Apple website and supply chain investigations over the past weekend, Guo Mingji's analysis showed that the pre-order volume for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max decreased by 27% and 16% respectively year-on-year during the first weekend of sales, while the pre-order volume for the iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 increased by 48% and 10% respectively.
